Steve's fruit and veg shop.is TOPS!
I have just spoken to him cos we bought a huge drum head round cabbage about 10 days ago,and gobbling it up...mostly raw..and it was the YUMMIEST cabbage we have EVER tasted!!!
We have only just finished it.
All the veg and fruit there is lovely and barely a plastic bag in site.Hurrah!!

So much choice in such a small place! You feel healthier just walking in. I couldn't resist an impulse buy of some mango chutney. Not just great veg, you can buy local flowers, treats and gourmet ingredients. Amazing place.

Family business. Always friendly great selection of fruit and veg. Also sells local produce and some really interesting things that you don't get from big supermarkets. I am very lucky to have such a great shop local to me. During Covid-19 they have looked after the village and put in safe shopping very early on. Can't thank them enough.

Fabulous range of fruit & veg. Lots of tasty products in the fridge. Great Vegan options in the deli range. Olive oils & pastas. Lovely lovely staff. ?

Stopped here, during a bike ride, looking for bananas. The guy in the shop was restocking the shelves - with bananas - how's that for service? Seriously, though, we bought some bananas and apples, then had a nice chat about bikes, for a few minutes, then we were offered some free Medul dates (which were yummy) before continuing on our way. This is the level of service that is only too rare, nowadays.
