I had chosen The Drop Off for my 50th celebrations and they did not disappoint. Both Moira and Bryn looked after me so well and on the evening itself they were on hand to help out, nothing was too much trouble. All my guests commented on ‘the vibe’ and how gorgeous it was.
For the buffet, I decided to go for the pies, chips, mushy peas and gravy…..wow it was delicious.
If you’re looking a venue with the wow factor The Drop Off is for you. I highly recommend it ?

Oh what a night!! Having my 50th at The Drop Off was such a special occasion for me, it is simply the most phenomenal function room which creates an amazing atmosphere for all the guests. The lighting, the acoustics for the band, the dance floor all worked together to create a brilliant night. Working with Moira and Bryn planning the night was perfect, so friendly, helpful and enthusiastic about it all. On the night Nathan ran the bar effortlessly and full of character. All that came were full of praise for you all in what you’ve created, you should be immensely proud of yourselves!! I cannot thank you enough for making my 50th a night I’ll never forget!!!

Very nice looking place and the food was good. However, the owners two dogs are allowed to roam freely, which makes taking your own dog difficult as the two dogs come up to the table regularly. One of them also snapped at mine when she was just sitting under our table, and we saw the same dog snap at a child too when they went to stroke it. The owner did warn us one of the dogs could be possessive, so it's clearly a known issue and therefore they should not be free to walk around the café.

Awesome place and the friendliest hosts!

If you're planning on a nearby walk, MTB or road cycle make sure you visit pre/post/during or if you're just in the area passing through.
Amazing selection of drinks, desserts and small but great tasting meals.
If you have little ones there's also a decent choice of books, colouring books and toys.

They also, do open mic nights however, I'm yet to attend one. I will though 🙂

Keep it up!

Nice food, options are slightly limited but everything is good quality and feels home made. Nice atmosphere, attracts dog walkers, cyclists, young families and old couples so everyone is welcome.
