Came in with my Mum one rainy day and made the special trip as she loves pastries. Unfortunately we were met by such a rude lady serving. We asked her to warm the pastries up (which seemed to greatly inconvenience her) and asked for hot milk with the coffee which we had to go back for.
The pastries were top notch as usual but the service a great let down. For the prices paid, you would expect better treatment

Great patisserie/bakery - lots of delicious looking cakes and sweet treats. Particularly enjoy the pastries and notably the Chocolat escargot it is SO good. Great location in summer town making it a fab option to stop in the car on the way out of Oxford before a long journey. However, also really recommend using this as a destination for a long morning weekend walk from Oxford centre.

Incredible quality patisserie!!! The staff were really lovely and we enjoyed the cakes a lot. A lot of options to choose from inside and really great to see choices from bread to pastries to chocolates! Having some student discounts could be even better but well worth visiting this beautiful gem. I wasn’t sure where the coffee beans are coming from but having some pour over coffees could be even better as well. Maybe a heater on the outside seats could be even better for winter months. Will definitely coming back to visit again :)!

Great pastries in the centre of Summertown. Got some croissant for breakfast.

It’s a bit hard to order different items. I didn’t know the names of different pastries. There isn’t a menu and the staff looked very confused when I was describing which pastries I wanted to have. Maybe a menu will help!

I don’t recommend it! Please be aware of this place regarding a totally rude service. I went there today afternoon for coffee and cakes with my husband celebrate his birthday and the lady with the glasses completely shocked me. She has misunderstood the order and when I kindly correct her, she raised her voice on me. My husband had to intervene asking if she is alright.. she was shouting cuz I did say I want two cakes- not three in total. Horrible service, also yelling to her staff as I heard when I was waiting for coffee. It was my first time with this sort of experience in hospitality industry.
I will never return.

Pastry heaven! I ordered a vanilla caramel cruffin and a chocolate eclair, both were very well made and you could notice the quality ingredients and care taken in the preparation. Unfortunately, I don't live in Oxford, but would certainly go back if I visit the area again

Gorgeous cakes, bread, croissants, hot chocolate!
And we ordered 2 cakes of 10 for a special celebration on Sunday which were stunning; everyone was very impressed because not only were they beautiful but absolutely delicious!
