Very good + it is nice when they appear at community Events such as.. The Grace-Eyre Public FunFest event in 2025, etc.. for info stalls + Karola who works there are very good at serving vegan cakes at fundraising stalls such as.. The big help out event 2024 that has just passed.

Brilliant set-up! Real focus on protecting the environment. Fabulous kitchen cooking up delicious vegan meals. Lots of super lovely staff and volunteers! Wonderful visit! Thank you for your hospitality!

Fantastic charity which helps loads of local community projects, and the environment, by redistributing surplus food to those in need. Their network covers well over 100 community projects throughout East and West Sussex, as well as Surrey, ensuring food is delivered daily to those people who need it. They also actively work with supermarkets to reduce food waste and ensure any surplus is handled in an ethical and environmental way.
They offer volunteering opportunities and have a fantastic team of regular volunteers. Big shout out to Esme who looked after a group of us during a recent corporate volunteering day. Fantastic day day out and amazing charity!

Great staff! Great volunteers! It's terrible the huge amount of good quality food that would just go to waste and get binned, without charity's like this, redistributing food to charity and community groups, so it gets to people who are struggling and really need it! It's a real pleasure volunteering for them!

Great place to volunteer with lovely people, both fellow volunteers and staff. Couldn’t think of a better place to spend time. Everyone works incredibly hard for such a good cause. It’s great to volunteer somewhere where you see the impact that you are having and get a bit of excercise too!

Not overly impressed ? here - chilled products I noted after a delivery were kept far too long outside the cold chain time limit.
Whilst I appreciate from my understanding that staff are volunteers etc , beurocratic red tape and ridiculous procedures let this place down.
Come on guys sort it out !!!.

What an amazing charity Fareshare is! I've been a volunteer for almost a year, and happily offer my free time to an organisation that ticks so many boxes: distribution of food waste to a large number of local community organisations - in other words tackling food poverty by providing good quality food that would otherwise end up in the bin. Fareshare Sussex is run by a small team of very dedicated paid staff and a large number of volunteers who offer their time to help in the depot or the office. Great atmosphere, wonderfully inclusive team - can't recommend this increditble organisation more.
