Blissful stop-over. Surrounded by green fields and only a flock of yews and lambs for neighbours. Hard standings have been carved out of this sloping site. We drove onto one easily but I wouldn't be very confident in wet weather. A quite steep driveway to the site but we made it easily in our 2L Peugeot Boxer. Worth the £15 fee, and we love the £1 and £2 coin electric meter. Pay for just what you use, and you can also see your balance.

Had a lovely stay here this weekend, it’s in a brilliant spot with cracking views over the valley. Owner was super friendly and welcoming and accommodated a late departure which meant we could enjoy a much slower pace today.

There’s a lot of negative chat about the approach to this site, but it is ok. It is a track and it is going up the hill, but just with a little patience pulling off from the bottom and keeping steady speed you’ll be fine. The views are worth it. Amazing rural feel but just 10 mins from the shops in Glossop and with full 4G on EE.

No toilets (fine by us) but with electric suits us perfectly. Water, bins and CDP in the corner of the field very accessible. All in all a great stay and I will be back!

Nice quiet CL. Electric hook ups, drinking water and waste disposal facilities. Sloping site so difficult to put up an awning. Be careful if approaching from Glossop with a caravan as the turn into the drive is quite tight.

Lovely CL site with access to the trails right from the farm thereby avoiding the road!! Sloping site but not a problem as there are a few hard standing pitches running against the slope. We had no problem with our awning even on the slope. Just remember your coins for electricity but regardless, the basic night rate can't be beat. We will definitely be back .

Not at all impressed. Very busy. The sloping site, meant we couldn't put the awning up and the caravan steps were useless, we couldn't sit out side as we were overlooked on all four sides, which meant we had no privacy at all and had to keep the blinds pulled all the time. Pulling off and onto the busy A6 was very dangerous.
The water containers were balanced on the edge of the concrete platform, making them very unbalanced. Sorry but we won't be returning, it's not a relaxing site.

This is a well maintained, clean and with fantastic views, site. There's a water tap on entry, with cassette emptying and refuge facilities. Quite a clever hard ledge square to base your caravan/camper, as you are on a slope, but this evens you quite well. Take care driving into the track, its extremely bumpy right at the start, and it's quite a slope up to the site, all fine as long as you take it slowly. £10 a night, electric on a £1/£2 meter. With TV, lights and an hours heating we've averaged £1.50 each nights use. Views are fabulous. Easy peasy base for touring.

Very nice little hilly caravan club site CL. Good views of the hills around. Very helpful owners. A nice but wet short break for us. The Lantern pub nearby gave us a good pub meal on the first night. The entrance is hard to see in the dark but we got used to it.

Great site. Amazing views and a lovely helpful lady too.
Also great value at £10. We walked across burnt hill and mill hill around Kinder scout in a loop , roughly 8 miles.
Me my mate Jamie is gay so he loved it too.
