My parents recently moved to the area and this has quickly become one of our favourite places around. Whilst visiting them, I’ve been for a drink on several occasions and a meal once too. Everything has always been brilliant, from the beer to the cocktails and the food to the service. I couldn’t recommend this place enough!

A pleasant rural location. Room was pleasant, with a very comfortable bed. Dinner was excellent, breakfast had a good selection of hot and cold options. The bar area was relaxing, aided by a blazing log fire.

Tucked away in the beautiful Wiltshire countryside, the Beckford Arms offers a truly memorable dining experience. The atmosphere is a blend of rustic charm and understated elegance, perfect for a cozy evening. The staff is warm, welcoming, and attentive, making you feel right at home from the moment you walk in.

The menu is a celebration of seasonal, locally sourced ingredients, crafted into dishes that balance comfort and creativity. Whether you're indulging in their hearty mains or sampling their vibrant starters, each dish arrives beautifully presented and full of flavor. Their emphasis on British classics with a modern twist really shines through.

A standout is their attention to detail, from the rich flavors of the perfectly cooked meats to the freshness of their produce. The drink menu is equally impressive, with a well-curated selection of wines and local ales that complement the dishes perfectly.

Overall, the Beckford Arms delivers an exceptional dining experience, ideal for those seeking great food in a relaxed, picturesque setting.

Just the best, the food is fantastic so is the service. Fabulous, chilled setting. They know how to get it right. I couldn’t recommend it more highly. I keep trying other places and keep coming back here. I would say the Bloody Mary is the best I have had. The wine selection is well curated. I would suggest anyone should book and experience.

There are certain places you just need to return to because of the big hug you feel from the staff, the delicious food, the building, the delightful bedrooms with their extra comfy beds not to mention the garden. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff who are extremely knowledgeable.

We visited the Beckford arms when passing, on the way to a meal elsewhere. The interior and garden of the pub is lovely. A very cozy place to spend time. The staff were all very friendly and happy to spend time serving. We did not stay over or eat here but will definitely look to do so when I'm in the area again. The food looked great, and the wine list was impressive for a cozy pub!

This is a big place. Welcoming bar and plenty of tables, inside and out. A surprisingly limited menu of main courses. However, the pork chop is the best ever, and beautifully cooked. Great service from Calum. All in all, a good place to eat and drink

Lovely location. Good food and service. Room a bit noisy as on road side and whilst there was a fan, no AC meant we struggled in one of the UK’s few hot nights…

A walk was recommended which we very much enjoyed: 4.5m/7K took about 2 hrs through woods and fields.
