I go here every morning for breakfast to start my day, every time Jordan makes me breakfast baguette, the wrapping it comes in is always covered in sauces or butter. It's really annoying when I feel like he's not caring at all. And also when constructing the baguette it's always so messy and not evenly made, butter is so much on one side, and sauces are lopsided. I don't recommend Jordan making sandwiches or food in the back, stick him on the KP or front of house. He's even tried to over charge me items I hadn't ordered a few times. Train this guy!

The very fact that this shop seems to be listed as an eatery says it all. It seems to have gone the last few years from being Wenzel's the Bakers to Wenzel's the fast food take-away, in much the same way as Gregg's has done.
It always did have a selection of pasties, ready-made sandwiches, sausage rolls etc for the lunchtime trade but this looks to now be their main market.
It must be working for them, there certainly is a steady stream of workers, van-drivers etc queuing for their breakfast/lunch/snacks. But it's at the cost of the bakery... as in bread, cakes, buns and pastries...side of the business. A very small selection now and many old favourites discontinued.
I popped in for an iced fancy (sadly no more) but ended up with a cinnamon doughnut which was very cold (as in fridge temperature) and stale and had to be revived at home with a quick blast in the airfryer.
Personally not impressed but daresay this change of direction suits others.

We go there every Sunday, always good selection, quality products and always good service. Cappuccinos are always nice and hot, unlike other places.

Lovely sandwiches and variety of sweet food. Pasties are always delicious but I highly recommend the hot pizza bagguette. I had the spicy pepperoni and is was lovely.

Love this place they are very pleasant and happy. Always happy to make a roll sandwich that you like rather than what is there but there is a great choice too so there is plenty to pick. Fresh too

Second time when is happening ! I am picking up a fresh big bloomer off the shelf then i choose to be sliced and i receive a different one, not fresh bread ( sliced since yesterday i think )

This place has just opened so I thought I'd give it a go as I run stonemans pallet services across the road in smiths garden centre.I must say the staff go above and beyond their call of duty to look after you.Amazing food freshly made to order if you ask plus unbelievable good service.Highly recommend.
