Stopped off here to get some lunch with family. The lady who attended to us was so welcoming and made sure we got a table for six of us as soon as it was possible. The food here is excellent and the afternoon tea sandwiches and cakes are so delicious. Definitely coming back when we return to the lakes. Highly recommended.

Yesterday on Easter weekend we went to Lake District and on the way back we decided to stop by this place. We bought X-large eggs which cost us £4.70 for 12 eggs. The quality looked amazing. Sharing some pictures.

Great selection of food here. Only minus is they were closed on Sunday which was the day I travelled home and would have bought some items to take home.

Three of us sat outside to enjoy the delicious bacon sandwiches and soft, buttery, perfectly cooked jacket potato with coronation chicken.
Lovely mocca which could have been hotter, but that’s because I like my hot drinks volcanic !!
Otherwise well worth the visit

Rather unimpressed really, turned up on Saturday, hardly anywhere open. Bought a couple of ( really nice, but rather pricey, obviousley) sausage rolls, sat in car and ate them...then went home !

I'm sure we caught the place at a bad moment though...

Called in to the cafe and we were seated immediately and given menus.
I had the full breakfast plus 2 hash browns as extras. The better half had a sausage sandwich. Service was swift and polite.
The food was nicely presented, and hot.
However, we both agreed that the sausage was not to our liking as we felt the texture was wrong and they lacked flavour, maybe just a personal thing, who knows?
A little pricey at £25 we felt, but hey, we’re in the tourist trap so only to be expected.
